Back to Resins

I've ended up going back to resin dolls u_u whoops. I just keep wanting more of them! I should be getting my PlanetDoll Emma really soon and she's in Tan Skin ~ going to be Lottie's girlfriend. I'll try update more (I've said this so many times ...) But anyway ~ here's a picture of Lottie in Imogen's wig! 

Kiyomi Is Complete!

Sorry - I'm really bad at updating this >.< whoops. I have to do a blog for Media Studies now so hopefully it will get me more into blogging haha. 

So anyway, this is Kiyomi. I did her faceup myself so it's not all that great but the best one I've done. This blonde wig makes her look so much cuter than the other one so ta-daa!

Woah been forever since I've been on here >.< whoops!

So Updates ~ I received River but I sold her because I went to a doll meet with my friend and she had her Dollfie Dreams with her and I realized I'd made a mistake in leaving the DD hobby and moving to resins. So I'm moving back to DD's yay!

My friend is sending my 03 head back to me so Kiyomi is gonna happen! A person from Canada is coming to London next weekend and will sell me her MDD body with kips and ankle joint mod for a super good price so I'm very happy!

Her wig also came today :3 except it has a black wig cap D': So I hope to order a white wig cap from Cool Cat along with some Crimson eyes as the blue ones are out of stock :'( which sucks.

P.s. And yes that is a juggling ball but I don't have her head yet XD haha! 

Ah! I suddenly realized I didn't update this in a while so everyone must be thinking I'm getting a Blue Fairy Boy ... so dresses would seem a bit strange. I changed my mind and ordered a DollZone Elsa in White Skin back in April. I'm expecting her in like ... a few months =_= Dollzone's gotta make her and wihqowhgeoiwhgoiwhg. Waiting is horrible!!! I'm naming her River and she'll be a human/sheep type creature (horns and a tail)

I'm also saving for a DollZone BB Maca to be her little sister Meadow =3 Hopefully I get enough Birthday money to make that a reality ^w^ She's so cute!

MSD Dresses!!

I got bought some dresses from a member on the Facebook UK BJD sales group ~~~ I was originally only going to get the black one but then decided I'd get the white one too. I think the white one will suit her better ^w^ For both of them it only cost me £5 including postage and she also sent an apron for free :) I can't wait for River so I can put these on her >:3

I did it. I sold Tsubaki. But to someone really awesome and I know he'll take care of her so it's all good ^w^;;

I've decided to purchase a Blue Fairy Tiny Fairy Boy Olive with the money from Tsubaki. I want to try the MSD Resin side of the BJD hobby. I know I'll end up getting another DD sometime once I get a job and stuff because I love DD's *o* 

I just think having an MSD would be cool and easier to make a room for and stuff and yeah. I'll name him Honey.

I ordered a pair of cute leggings from MonstroDesigns just now (Yeah, he's a boy who wears leggings .. he's a little bit girly) and tomorrow I'm buying a really cute top from a seller on Figure.fm. It's got cute little anchors all over it >///< 

So now all I need to get him is some shoes (maybe socks) a wig and a faceup. My friend Amy is going to do his faceup as I suck at it =3= I know what wig I want. I saw one on Crobidoll that I thought would be cute. I just need to get some money together XD 

And then I'll order the actual doll and a few weeks or so (even though I wanna do it tomorrow or tuesday) Because I'm going to wait for Tsubaki to arrive to Billy before I spend his money. 

Selling Tsubaki?

I've been considering this for a while now. I managed to patch things up with her for a few weeks but now it's cropped back into my mind again. I REALLY love Tsubaki, I think she has the most gorgeous face ever yet I can't help thinking I really want to move away from SD's and get MSD's and resins.

I really want a Blue Fairy Tiny Fairy Boy Olive. I've wanted one for ages now. I think he'd make a great doll to re-shell Chase into.

I've come to a standstill with Tsubaki. I want to do so much with her but can't. I really love her but if I did sell her to this one guy he said I could buy her back from him if I ever needed to. I think that's better than selling her and knowing you can't ever get her back if you end up regretting it.

I'm not sure if it's just because I want a new doll and am too poor to afford both, or if I just lost my bond with Tsubaki or if it's because I want MSD's and could customize them more.

I might swap Tsubaki for my friends MSD Kaylyn for a week to see if it is just an MSD I want.

I hope I don't sell her but we'll see.

BJD Eye Candy Re-Opened

I decided to re-open my eye store because I really need money to put towards Kiyomi’s body -3- so be sure to check it out! It’d be a great help if you could spread the word and stuffz - or even purchase a pair or two ;)

Pretty nervous doing this again. I stopped last time because I was worried people didn’t like them (even though everyone who bought a pair said they were lovely)

I had to back out on my layaway for Kiyomi's body because I don't get much money and I didn't wanna keep stringing her on for aaaggggeeeessss ;^; 

I'm thinking about getting a Hujoo Baby Suve because it's a tiny doll and it's cheap and I really wanna make it a room like everyone seems to be doing right now. It just seems really fun. I emailed my dad and asked if he'd buy her for me but he hasn't replied. Name is undecided. 

I'm so bad at sticking with one doll to work on =3= 

I put Kiyomi's head on Tsubaki's body just for a few photos. I also tried in some different eyes (probably gonna keep her with the Nia eyes for now) I can't wait till she has her own body ... or wig ... or clothes =_= or pro faceup OTL 

Kiyomi's Faceup Journey

I said I'd show you all of my attempts =_= I still need to wait for a suitable day to seal it (Not anytime soon cuz there's freaking snow outside >.<) So let's begin:

^ This was he original faceup. My friend did it as she used to belong to her, but she had no eyebrows so I knew I'd eventually give her a new faceup.

Then on the Dollfie Dream Forums someone suggested removing a faceup using Nail Polish Remover. I bought some own brand from Superdrug, Acetone free, and it worked a treat! 

^ This was my first attempt. The eye brows were dodgy but it's really hard to do them! 

Even though I was pleased with this I had to take it off because I had sealed it wrong and there were HUGE white marks all over her face :( 

^ After another faceup the sealing failed yet again. My friend said the specks were probably due to me not allowing enough time of it to dry after removing the previous one. 

^Then I tried it again. It was ok. I liked the eyelashes but the eyebrows and mouth were a bit meh. 

^ And then I did this one. Hmmmm, so ugly XD Haha. I guess I was inspired by Kotonoha Katsura from School Days lol (I do want to make a Katsura 03 girl) 

So now she has a better faceup (still not perfect and once I get money I'll probably send her away to get a proper one done) but it will suffice. Poor girl has had so many faceups XD haha.

It's done! There's a lot of little mistakes, especially on the eyebrows (But they'll be covered by her bangs anyway lol)

You can't really see the blush on her either :( but it's there! She looks pretty irl ;) I just have to wait for a suitable day so I can seal it (And if I mess it up again I'm gonna FLIP >:T)

She has an eyebrow now - But I'm scared to do the other one cuz I love symmetry! Meh >.< It has to be done! 

Kiyomi's Faceup WIP

I mentioned I had a DDH-03 called Kiyomi. I decided to re-do her faceup again. It's only a WIP but I wanted to post something. Once she has her final faceup I'll show all the previous ones too <XD 

I've only done the eyelashes and beauty mark so far cuz it's late and I have college tomorrow =3= - But I'm pleased with the result so far. Next comes the evil eyebrows of doom >.<

Hello ^o^ It's nice to meet you! I was inspired after seeing my friends blog to create my own. I'm never normally any good at continuing these type of things so let's see how I get on >.< I was thinking about making this blog about my BJD hobby :3 Because It'd be cool! x 

So first off, a few things about me. I'm 17, 18 in July. My birthday is on 11th July. My favourite colour is purple and my favourite animals are foxes (≧∇≦) - I attend college and am studying German, Art and Textiles. It's a lot of fun but also really hard work and it's annoying how our teachers keep pestering us about Universities ;^; I'm a really shy person and very socially awkward. I always try to avoid situations where I have to talk to people. But once I get to know someone you sometimes can't shut me up XD hehe. 

I own one Dollfie Dream right now called Tsubaki. She's is a custom DDH-02 with a DDII body with an M Bust. She's named after the Camellia flower and her birthday is 11th September 2012. Her favourite things are Hello Kitty, Hats, Cooking and climbing all over people. I still find it funny how I ALMOST didn't end up getting her head. I remember seeing it and not really liking the faceup and then like several months later I came across it again and was like screw this I'll buy her anyway. I'm so glad I did cuz I ADOOORREEE her - and I wouldn't of met Phoebe that way either ^w^ To think that Tsubaki almost didn't come to be. And then my dad bought me her body which I got for a pretty good price actually ^w^

Isn't she just lovely? Well I love her to bits! I also have a DDH-03 head right now who was a gift from my friend Alyssa and her name is Kiyomi. I'm still struggling with her faceup (cuz I need it to be symmetrical or I'll be annoyed) so I'll be posting faceup progress as well maybe :)
